About Me

A career built on
rigorous data thinking

I'm a London-based Data Analyst and Database professional who has spent over 18 years making sense of complex datasets – long before "data science" became fashionable. My career has taken me from building Oracle medical systems in Pakistan, through a decade managing retail operations data at Lidl UK, to running bespoke database and ETL consultancy in London.

After a period of family caring responsibilities, I returned to the workforce in 2018 with renewed focus and purpose. I completed Microsoft's Azure Data Fundamentals certification, the NCFE Level 3 in Data Analytics, Google Educator credentials, and a Coursera Power BI course – and I'm now midway through an MSc in Computer Science with Data Analytics at City St George's, University of London.

I combine deep, battle-tested SQL and PL/SQL expertise with modern tooling – Python, Power BI, cloud data pipelines – and I'm actively seeking a permanent Data Analyst or Data Engineer role where I can contribute immediately whilst continuing to grow.
